Six Million Dollar FUN!!

So the entire collection of "The Six Million Dollar Man" is finally available on DVD. Too bad it costs about $250.00 and can only be bought as the set and only online at Time Life. This was my favorite show when I was a kid and I still love the opening intro. I remember having a few of the comics also but since they were published by Charleton, they were hard to find in North Jersey for some reason. I still have the action figure on my shelf and spent more hours than I could count playing with him. He was not the best toy on the market, but he was bionic for crying out loud!! I can tell you that the one item I never got and always asked for, was the Six Million Dollar Man lunch box. I never got any lunch box actually.

Hot Run

My friend and neighbor wrote his first book and thought enough of me to ask me to do the cover. I like working with Tim, he is creative and positive and makes the work seem easy. He is self-publishing his tome thru Amazon right now. It it available for a Kindle and will be available in actual print very soon. You can follow Tim on his blog at:

You can order the book thru here:

Happy New Year MacBean!!

A friend sent me a picture he had taken off the internet as a joke. He thought it was funny that a giant statue in Canada had "PINTO" written right across its hat. I actually thought it was funny as well and I got a kick out of the fact that he was a giant pinto bean. A little research showed that his name is in fact, Pinto MacBean and he is the official mascot of Bow Island, Canada. It's even listed on the Wikipedia page! I thought it would be fun to do my take on the guy. I only made a few tweaks to the design or colors. I lost his nose and made the eyes like the M&M characters. His hand and feet now "float", taking a page from Veggie Tales, and his belt is now brown as well. I think he is still pretty much the same.
