So here they all are! All of my recent James Bond portraits together and composited with my much earlier James Bond picture as well. I wasn't planning on doing that actually. I was pretty much done putting them into a different composition when I thought, "what the heck! Let's see what it looks like if I combine the pictures!" I think it looks pretty good.

Daniel Craig!

Finally, and as of this writing, the current Bond, Daniel Craig! I have really enjoyed him in the role and I think that he has had a fantastic run in the role. He got mostly good movies and he added much to re-establish Bond for his era. His final movie is just a few months from release and the trailer was the impetus for me to draw all the James Bond actors again. With this one, I really wanted him to be in the white coat. I went to great lengths to put this pose together and then when I was all done realized that all I did was re-create his pose from the Spectre movie poster! Ugh!

George Lazenby!

The most forgotten Bond and the most underrated as well. People seem to just assume that since he only made one film that it was so bad that it should be skipped. Not so. He is actually a solid 007 and it's a good James Bond movie as well! He did have the unenviable task of not only following Sean Connery, but was also followed BY Sean Connery as he was wooed back for one more film after Lazenby unexpectedly quit.

Timothy Dalton!

Continuing my James Bond series here is Timothy Dalton as 007. He was a really good Bond. Unfortunately with only two outings and with not so great scripts, he never really got to shine in the role. I didn't really like his movies when they were released but I find them more tolerable now.

Pierce Brosnan!

So Bond came back in a big way in the mid-Nineties. I remember reading all the magazine articles I could and looking on a fledgling internet to learn what I could. I was in college at the time and we were all jazzed about it. We all went to see it and we were thrilled! The man that was born to be Bond was finally in the role! James Bond was back!!

Now while I absolutely LOVE Pierce in the role of Bond, I felt that his following movies were less than stellar. Seems the first outing for every actor playing 007 is usually the best of their run.

Roger Moore!

So a bit ago, I posted a fairly new drawing of Sean Connery as James Bond. I didn't intend on doing any more than that but I kept watching James Bond movies and then people kept asking if I was going to do all the Bonds. I tried reminding everyone that I had indeed done that already but they kept asking. So here is another Bond. My first Bond actually. I remember watching Roger Moore on the Sunday Night at the Movies on ABC growing up in New Jersey. My friend Guy told my brother and I that we should watch. He wasn't wrong. I was immediately hooked and I couldn't wait for another movie to air. I didn't have to wait too long. After a bit of time I found out that Roger Moore was not the original James Bond. Mind blown!!!

Captain America!

So here is a pic I forgot to post when I did it a few months back. I had done a sketch of part of this at a convention if I am remembering correctly. Well, I liked the sketch enough that I scanned it in and then finished it off. I was  pretty happy with the results too. Kinda a "Kirby-esque" toon if you will.
