Captain America, Reb Brown!!

I will finally be at another local show on June 6th for Lake Collect A Con in Leesburg! Their special guest is Reb Brown who played Captain America in two TV movies back in the '70's! I was asked to make a special print for the occasion so I thought about making a "comic book cover" and draw him as such. 

Here is my pencil sketch. I didn't try for a likeness straight away on this as I wanted to get the pose right first.

Here is the inked version of my sketch. I don't know why I inked the face as I still had to change it at this point but I guess it completes the drawing. I also knew I would add the shield in Illustrator so it would be easier to keep a nice oval.
