Atlas!

 

Hunting in the dollar bins is my favorite thing to do now. Especially when I find a Kirby comic I had never seen before. And to me, Kirby's work looks it's best on the newsprint it was meant for! After reading the comic I came across a pencil sketch of Atlas Kirby had done and then decided to ink it on my iPad one Sunday while my wife and I lounged by the pool. I experimented with a rougher brush to fill my blacks too.
