Mark Twain

 

 Mark Twain. Oil on canvas. Kept it simple and to force myself to not get carried away with blending and such, I kept a strict time limit of 3 hours. That was what a normal painting class length was back at Ringling. So, it's more of an exercise rather than a "finished" piece. Obviously, there are parts that I would go back and refine or change but I do like the rawness of it. Some positive take aways here. What are your thoughts??
