The Bride of Frankenstein!

It’s alive... and she’s got a killer hairdo!

My Bride of Frankenstein, a little Halloween treat. Pencil, acrylic medium, colored pencils, and gouache, with the painted portrait emerging from the raw pencil sketch around it. I had fun with the spatter in the hair, that stitched neck, and the deep green backdrop that sets off the lightning-streaked curls.

Nothing beats traditional media for gothic glamour.
